Mission Statement:
My theoretical orientation in psychotherapy is both psychodynamic (focus on understanding and insight) and cognitive-behavioural (focus on beliefs, thoughts and actions). With both approaches the aim is to get at the root of the problem and make lasting change. I try to match the treatment approach to client characteristics and needs. I endeavor to apply sound psychological principles and research evidence to assist individuals and couples overcome personal and relational problems. I incorporate clients' Christian faith in the recovery process when they wish to do so.
