Mission Statement:
Bradford Counselling Services was founded in 1990 for the soul purpose of "helping others". We serve both Christian people and the community at large providing eclectic interventions based on therapeutic need, always honouring Chrisitian principles and values yet respecting the clients right to free choice. We are therapists first and do not attempt to aggressively win others to the faith but freely address spiritual issues from a Christian perspective as they are raised by clients.

Very experienced marital (approximately half of our practice), family and individual therapists (the other half of our practice). We adhere where possible to a brief solution focused model of intervention. We do serve as well populations requiring longer term intervention including those with loss, disability, eating disorders and trauma victims (both of us are fully trained in EMDR and are experienced individual and group trauma debriefers). Both Linda and I have also considerable experience working in psychiatry and hence are comfortable with both assessment and intervention models and have considerable community resource knowlege as well. We have a wide referral base including EAP firms, physicians, ministers, insurance, government and the community at large.
