Mission Statement:
  • To be used by the Holy Spirit to touch lives, to offer hope and spiritual maturity.
  • To counsel in practical, results-oriented, holistic ways.
  • To practice the Biblical injunctions of love, care, support, and restoration.

I have done volunteer Christian counselling on and off throughout the past twenty years. I provided therapy to patients at the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry in Toronto for my Masters practicum. Other work experience includes working at a Shelter for Abused Women and as a Child Protection Worker for Chidlren's Aid Societies. I have been involved in private practice counselling since 1995.

I am skilled at using a number of counselling approaches including Rogerian client-centred therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, psychodynamic, and the cognitive-behavioural approach. I employ the approach that I feel is most appropriate for your issues, needs, and circumstances.

I recognize that the combination of the infallible Word of God in conjunction with current proven ethical, psychological and alternative medical knowledge can provide positive, practical solutions to people's problems, hurts, stresses, and frustrations.
