Mission Statement: Counselling for me is first and foremost ministry. I seek to come alongside those who are hurting in order to help them towards healing. I bring into counselling a wide variety of experiences and training to assist in this process. In therapy, I use various psychological methods, as appropriate given the individual client's situation. I prefer most often to work from a Family Systems perspective. In simple terms, this means that I take into account the involvement and influence of the family in my clients’ lives, not just the client's inner thoughts and feelings.

The counselling that I do is for both Christians and non-Christians. Although much of my counselling experience has been with people who have a background in the Christian faith, I am able to work with people who come from various social and religious backgrounds. However, since any therapy I do comes from the perspective of the Christian worldview, I counsel with the Christian belief and value system as the basis for my thinking.
