Mission Statement: Lighthouse Counselling Services are Robert and Helga Edwards. We were married in 1988, and have worked as professional counsellors since 1997. We provide counselling aimed at promoting mental, emotional, spiritual and relational health. We believe God cares about people who are experiencing emotional pain, trouble in their relationships, or who feel trapped in self-destructive behaviours.

We believe God sometimes uses counsellors to bring healing to those areas of people's lives. We look to God to enable us to play an effective role in the healing process. In our work, we are able to draw from both our counselling and theological training. We use a wide range of theoretical perspectives, all of which are consistent with the Christian faith.
