How can my church sign up for CAP?
Contact our Director of CAP services, Marg Smit-Vandezande, either by email or phone: 905-515-4758. Marg is available to come out to your church and present information about CAP to interested persons and to the church leadership. If your church would then like to sign on to CAP, a contract is developed between Shalem and your church. The fee is nominal and based on the number of households in the church (using a formula used by Employee Assistance Plans in the employment world). Some churches have found that the total cost is not much more than the monies they currently dedicate to supporting people to access counselling.
